Compare Profiles, Gather Targeted Feedback, and Access New Insights with SkillsEngine

In this release, we’ve made significant updates to the platform’s design and functionality. From a revamped landing page to new features like the Compare Page and updates to the Insights Tab, we’ve introduced several changes to enhance your experience with SkillsEngine. Additionally, there are new options for inviting users, gathering feedback by skill type, and refining the profile-building process.

Introducing the New Compare Page:

Our new Compare Feature allows you to select two of your profiles and compare their skills side-by-side, making it easy to spot overlaps and differences.

• The Compare Page provides both a summary view and a detailed comparison table to give you a thorough analysis of how the two profiles align.
• The detailed comparison table can be downloaded, making it easy to share or further analyze the results.

Additional Sections Added to the Insights Tab:

• The Insights Tab now includes salary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for relevant jobs, based on the title and description of your profile.
• We’ve added a new section that shows related profiles, allowing you to explore profiles that share similar skills.

Now Allow Feedback by Skill Type:

• You can now select which skill types you want your reviewers to see when setting up feedback sessions, ensuring the feedback is more focused and relevant.
• Reviewers will only see the skill types you’ve selected, helping you gather targeted insights from their feedback.

Updates to Text to Skills Conversion Process:

• We’ve expanded our text conversion to include tools and technologies, giving you even more flexibility when building profiles.
• We’ve also added a new soft skills section. All soft skills are grouped into this bucket, and removing one will remove it from the entire profile. Once the profile is created, the soft skills will appear in the relevant skill sets.

Invite by Email:

• We’ve made it easier to invite users to your organization. Simply enter their email address, and they will receive an invitation to join your organization account.
