What is SkillsEngine?
SkillsEngine is a commercial technology venture backed by TSTC building systems and applications to advance the state of skills management and validation technology.
Can I start using SkillsEngine for free?
Yes. Anyone may register for a free SkillsEngine account using their name and email. The account gives you the ability to create one free skill profile using the SkillsEngine library and tool suite.
Upgrade to Pro, Team or Enterprise for access to advanced features, data and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members.
How do I create an account?
Anyone can sign up for a limited free account. All you need is an email and a password to get started. For access to advanced features, storage and data you can upgrade to a Pro, Team or Enterprise organization.
Can I change my login email address?
Our platform does not currently support the ability to change your login email address. To use a new email address you will need to create a new account.
How do I reset my password if I forget it?
Click Log In on any page, then select "Forgot password?" and submit your email to receive instructions for resetting your password.
How do I delete or close my account permanently?
You can delete your account by logging in and using the 'Delete Profile' action available in your Account Manager under Account Settings.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: The delete action is permanent and cannot be reversed.
To access your account manager page, log into your account and click on your name in the top right corner of any page. From the dropdown, click "Manage Account."
Select Account Settings from the right hand menu and follow the instructions on the page to delete your account.
How do I get help or support if I have technical issues?
Visit our support center for resources to help you get started using SkillsEngine and resolve any challenges you may have along the way.
If you need additional help, use our support form to submit a ticket. We aim to respond to all support requests within two business days.
What are SkillsEngine's subscription offerings?
We offer three options for paid upgrades: Pro, Team and Enterprise. Each is tailored to suit the needs of different organization types. You can upgrade by logging into your free account and clicking the "Request Upgrade" CTA in the navigation menu.
What if I need a plan tailored to my specific needs?
For Enterprise plans, we offer customizable solutions. Please contact our sales team for a consultation.
Is there a discount for non-profits or educational institutions?
Yes, we offer special pricing for non-profits and educational institutions. Please contact us for more details.
What are the available payment options?
We use Stripe for processing our payments which accepts all major credit cards and payment methods. Payments can be made monthly or annually. Annual billing comes with a discount.
Can I get an invoice for my subscription?
Yes, invoices and receipts are automatically generated via Stripe and can be downloaded from the plan management page. See Managing an Organization on SkillsEngine for more information on accessing your Stripe portal.
Are prices subject to change?
We occasionally adjust our pricing to reflect the value of our product. Existing customers will be notified in advance of any changes.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your subscription, your organization account will be deleted at the end of your current billing period. You will still have access to your free account.
What are SkillsEngine's terms of use?

How do I unsubscribe from marketing communications?
You can unsubscribe from SkillsEngine marketing emails and newsletters at the bottom of any email you have received from us. Simply click "unsubscribe" to unsubscribe from all SkillsEngine marketing communications or "manage preferences" to choose which communications you want to receive.
How do I disable email notifications from the platform?
You can change your notification preferences from within your account manager. To access your account manager page, log into your account and click your account icon in the top right corner of any page. In the drawer, click "Account Settings" and then select Notifications from the left hand menu. Check or uncheck the boxes beside each notification option and hit save.
Does SkillsEngine have an API?
APIs are coming soon! Keep an eye out here and on our social media accounts for updates.
Is there a mobile app available for the platform?
No, we do not currently have a SkillsEngine mobile application.
How do I provide feedback or suggest new features for the platform?
Use our support request form to provide feedback and/or submit feature requests.
