What’s New at SkillsEngine: APIs, Security Enhancements, and More

This release introduces the availability of SkillsEngine APIs, design enhancements to the navigation drawer, backend improvements for subscription management, and updates to our library management tools. These updates are designed to provide seamless integration options, improve navigation, and ensure smoother management of our skill library.

Introducing SkillsEngine APIs:

We’re excited to announce that SkillsEngine APIs are now live for all paid subscription holders. These APIs enable you to integrate SkillsEngine’s powerful features directly into your workflows and systems.

• Easily access API tokens directly from the side navigation drawer.
• Dive into our API Documentation to learn how to get started with SkillsEngine APIs today.
• Check out the Create an Organization page to see how many API calls are included with each subscription plan.

Email Verification

We’ve introduced email verification to improve platform security and ensure that all accounts are associated with valid email addresses.

• Existing Users: Existing users who have not already verified their email or signed up using a Google account will be prompted to verify their email address.
• New Users: All new users signing up for the platform will now be required to verify their email address (unless signing up through a Google account).

Design Updates to Navigation Drawer:

• We’ve updated the design of the navigation drawer and organization switcher, making it more intuitive and streamlined.
• A direct link to the Support Center has been added, so you can quickly access help and resources.

Backend Updates:

• Updated our backend to simplify handling of account deactivations.
• Made updates to our skill library that will allow for more impactful curation by our IO Psychologists.
